Cypress, CA, September 26, 2017FOR-A® Corporation of America will showcase a variety of its solutions ideal for the house of worship market at the upcoming WFX Conference and Expo. Taking place October 10-12 in Dallas, Texas, WFX is the largest conference and church expo in the country. FOR-A will demo its popular video switcher and signal processor solutions, along with ClassX's real-time broadcast graphics solutions and ODYSSEY's Insight Production Server, in Booth 418.

"FOR-A offers a wide array of solutions that are ideal for houses of worship video production environments," said Ken Truong, President, FOR-A America. "From churches in California using our video switchers to produce multi-site video streaming of their sermons and events, to houses of worship in Ohio relying on our solutions as they transition to HD, FOR-A technology is depended on by many organizations in the worship industry. We look forward to connecting with current and potential customers at the event, and discussing how FOR-A solutions can improve their operations."

The company will showcase its HVS-490 and HVS-100 video switchers at the show. FOR-A's HVS-490 unit is the latest solution in its popular line of HANABI video switchers and recently began shipping. Offering an extensive feature set in a compact, affordable unit, the new HVS-490 production switcher includes 4K-UHD and 3G capabilities. FOR-A's HVS-100 portable video switcher boasts exceptional cost performance, offering a built-in Web server for its controls, mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVEs, Chroma keyers and DSKs. Both switchers are ideal in house of worship productions, where space is limited but production quality is critical.

Also to be shown is the FA-505 multi-channel/multi-function signal processor - a five-input, five-output signal processor that supports wide color gamut and high dynamic range matrices from ITU-R BT.709 to ITU-R BT.2020. Other features of the FA-505 include a dynamic range conversion function that allows SDR-to-HDR conversion, and the ability to store conversion algorithms internally.

As the exclusive distributor of the ClassX's premium graphics suite of solutions in North, Central, and South America, FOR-A will display its solution of 2D/3D character generation and live motion graphics and playout software at WFX. Announced earlier this year, the new agreement between the two companies gives customers the ability to integrate ClassX real-time broadcast graphics with FOR-A video switchers.

FOR-A will also show the ODYSSEY Insight multi channel video server at WFX. Offering a wide range of supported wrappers and codecs, the Insight server is an excellent tool for media contribution and video playout tasks. The server was designed specifically for environments with evolving infrastructure that requires flexible file support, ease of use and event synchronization.
