HVS-100
HVS-490
Cypress, CA, August 17, 2017 – At next week’s SET Expo in Brazil, FOR-A® will showcase a wide variety of its popular video and audio solutions, including video switchers, signal processors, multi-viewers and video encoders/decoders – a number of which are newly being offered at a reduced price. Taking place in Sao Paulo at the Expo Center Norte Convention Center August 22-24, FOR-A will exhibit in Booth #96.
FOR-A will showcase its line of HANABI video switchers, including the HVS-2000, HVS-100/110, and new HVS-490 units. The feature-packed, cost-efficient HVS-2000 switcher offers the capabilities of a 7 M/E unit and is ideal for 4K-UHD productions and a wide array of production environments. The portable HVS-100/110 series of FOR-A switchers features mixed HD/SD input, frame synchronizing, re-sizing engine, 2.5D wipe effects, DVE, Chroma keyer and DSK. Boasting exceptional cost performance, the HVS-100/110 is now being offered at a 10% price reduction.
Featuring exclusive FOR-A technologies, the new HVS-490 switcher was introduced earlier this year at NAB. The HVS-490 is a diverse solution for affordable 4K production use, and recently began shipping. FOR-A will also showcase its recently announced integration between its video switchers and ClassX 2D/3D character generation and live motion graphics/playout software, which now has a price point of under $13,000.
InSync MCC-4K
Also in FOR-A’s SET Expo booth will be its lineup of easy-to-use color correctors, including the FA-505, FA-1010 and FA-9600 multi-channel signal processors. The newest of the units, the FA-9600, supports 4K-UHD, 12G-SDI, HDR and Wide Color Gamut. FOR-A will also showcase its new MCC-4K motion compensated converter – which provides high-quality frame rate and format conversion for UHD/3G/HD signals.
MV-1620HSA
Fujitsu IP-HE950
On the multi-viewer front, FOR-A will demo its MV-1620HSA 3G/HD/SD/Analog Mixed High-Resolution multi-viewer, which accepts up to 16 channels of signals for monitoring on up to two screens, along with its compact MV-1210 multi-viewer -which features up to 16 inputs and 6 outputs and enables users to build a versatile, flexible 4K editing environment.
As a distributor of Fujitsu’s high-performance video transmission equipment, FOR-A will showcase the latest solution in the Fujistu line, the IP-HE950 real-time H.265/HEVC encoder/decoder units. Other products that FOR-A will display include its 4K extraction system, the ZE-ONE. The solution allows users to frame and extract desired 4K image areas to capture the action for HD replays. Also on display will be the ACK-3000 advanced 3D chroma keyer, which generates a virtual human keyed shadow to provide realistic form and depth for live composited images, using up to three virtual lights to support volume light. In the SET Expo booth, Tecnovideo will also showcase FOR-A’s FVW-500HS telestrator (video writer), which enables freehand drawing and positioning of objects and image files over video.
In addition to the price reductions mentioned for the solutions that will be on display at SET Expo, FOR-A is now offering significant cost savings for the following products: a 25% cost reduction for the HVS-390 video switcher, a 20% savings on the Insight Server, and a 40% cost reduction for the MFR-64x64 router.
