HD Frame Rate Converter FRC-3000 |
 |
 |
An affordable frame rate converter with the technology and know-how of the FRC-7000 frame rate converter. Retains many functions of the previous model, including high-precision conversion using motion compensation technology, and scene cut detection function.
 |
Frame rate conversion with motion compensation processing |
| Includes the proven motion compensation processing technology of the FRC-7000. Realizes frame rate conversion with minimal juddering by detecting motion vector of an object and generating the motion of it in the interpolated frame from amount of vector fluctuation in the frames before and after. |
| |
 |
Scene cut detection function |
| With function to detect scene cuts, scene changes are automatically detected so that frame rate conversion is performed without using motion compensation processing on unrelated data for the frames before and after scene cuts. |
| |
 |
Text field automatic detection/manual setting function |
| Automatically detects rolling text superimposed on the video and able to make optimal conversion for uncompromised character depiction. Also allows manual specification of fields for static superimposed text (date, time, program title, logo, etc.), so that these portions can be treated alone without performing motion compensation processing. |
| |
 |
Proc Amp |
| Process control is possible for post-conversion video. The video level, chroma level, chroma phase, setup level, and clips can be
adjusted to produce the optimum video. |
| |
 |
Genlock |
| Tri-level sync or BB selectable. Two independent input terminals are provided for them. |
| |
 |
Embedded audio support |
| Support is provided for eight-channel 48-kHz 24-bit embedded audio signals synchronized to video. It also includes a delay function
for synchronization with video processing. Conversion is possible maintaining synchronization between video and audio. |
| |
 |
AES/EBU digital audio support |
| The FRC-70DA (optional) provides asynchronous/synchronous digital audio inputs. This enables building of a flexible audio system
by combining with stereo four-channel-pair internal processing (sample rate conversion/individual delay adjustment function) and a remapping function. |
| |
 |
Dolby E encoding/decoding support |
| Adding a Dolby option module enables decoding and encoding of Dolby E data. The FRC-3000 also comes with BB output terminal synchronized to input or output SDI. It is also possible to provide a synchronization signal (BB) to external Dolby E equipment. Even when users already have Dolby E decoder/encoder equipment, this allows significant simplification when building Dolby E systems, which tend to grow in complexity when performing rate conversion. |
